Based on the hearing opinion, PNU decided whether to cancel the admission of Cho Min.

The hearing process for the preliminary administrative disposition of Cho Min, the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, to cancel admission to Pusan National University (PNU) Graduate School of Medicine is completed. They plan to confirm whether Cho’s admission will be canceled next month.

On February 25th, PNU held the second hearing on Cho Min's preliminary administration to cancel all admission to the school. But according to PNU, Cho did not attend the second hearing. Also, Cho did not participate in the first hearing held in January. Instead, a legal representative came and stated his opinion.

So, PNU designated the presiding officer as an outsider and left the details, number, and schedule of the hearing entirely to it. The presiding officer will review different opinions from Cho Min and the University within this month and also submit hearing records and statements under the Administrative Procedure Act of PNU. The University did not disclose the details. It will form the final decision on whether to cancel the admission based on the opinion and notify Cho as soon as the process is done.

Meanwhile, two civic groups confronted Cho Min's cancellation of admission over the road between them at the hearing. The civic group "Righteous-People" said, “Cho’s admission should be canceled. We should not keep fairness to block the future of young people.” And on the other side, "Busan-Dang-Dang" said, “We should stop political decisions and should not cancel Cho Min’s admission.”
